Marketing Live a hit!

I have been going on somewhat about Marketing Live and for those of you that weren't there it happened last week - and went with a big bang!
Thank you to those 350+ that did attend and the feedback so far has been great - well apart from one grumpy person, but there's always one that proves the rule.

The Pitch gets to grips with Durex!

The power of positive people

Following on from last week, I have two thoughts -

1) I have just finished reading Meatball Sundae by Seth Godin and what a revelation. His insight into the power of people, individuals through to great swathes of communities, shows how important we all are to the progress of our world.

2) The best example I can give of this is Comic Relief - what an achievement this year at a time when we might least have expected it - which shows the power of positive people and positive action working towards a momentus goal.

Please be positive

I have tried to avoid the climate (weather wise and the economic version) for some time, but I think I really need to say something this week.
Please, please, please remain positive.
I did a careers talk with fellow member David Mapple this week and he said that this is a time of opportunity and he is right. I know that it isn't pleasant for many but it is an indication of change and change if you look at it positively is an opportunity.
So think about your state of mind on Monday morning and try to be positive in all you do, say and feel.
