It's all about the people

I wanted to share with you a recurring theme of this week and that is people.

At the Humber event Gareth Morgan talked about treating the customer as if they were your mother, and I have repeatedly been referring to partnerships only working on the strength of the people involved.

Marketing is in fact all about people. Forget the argument of whether marketing is an art or a science, incidentally I think it is a merging of both, but think about the individuals, the mothers, daughters, brothers etc. At the end of the day people buy from people and that is what we are in the business of facilitating.

So the please for this week is don't forget the people!
