I have only seen The Secret Millionaire twice - and both times I've cried!

This week saw 'the Gordon Ramsay of the Marketing world' Carl Hopkins giving away money to ex-miners in Easington, County Durham.

Carl had told me he was on, because I have been talking to him about his presentation at our forthcoming Celebration Evening in Leeds, which is now going to include some of the lessons he's learned through doing the show.

I'm back from two weeks off and as the title says, refreshed and raring to go!
I hope you are too, because there is so much going on at CIM that you'll want to get involved in...

In this, my first posting for today, I wanted to draw your attention to the new Chartered CPD Programme and Portal.
For ten years CIM has been able to exclusively award Chartered Marketer status to those people that provide evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD), which is great but not all of our members qualify or even want Chartered status. Now the ability to collect and be recognised for CPD has been extended to all members of the institute, who will receive a certificate of their achievement each year.

This coincides with the launch of our brand new CPD Portal, where members can assess their current situation against learning and skills needs, then plan a course of action.
